The National Symphonic Chamber Orchestra (NASKA) is an enthusiastic and flexible ensemble which has a nucleus of around 60 young players. The size of the orchestra can vary from several players to a full symphony orchestra.
As well as their own concert series the orchestra is regularly invited to play at varied locations and concert venues. Their repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary.
NASKA is always looking for new challenges, initiates and promotes performances of ‘unknown’ works and is presently working on both Dutch and World premieres. The orchestra is very willing to promote new music! They are involved with various CD recordings and their schedule also involves accompanying choirs which this enthusiastic orchestra gladly do.
